Kismet opened in the summer of 2018. We have stuck to a simple formula, bespoke drinks, graceful service and a relaxed atmosphere in a stylish surrounding. We want you to enjoy the drinks we offer as much as we do. There is no pretence in what we do, we are just super proud to be able to do what we do, where we do. Our back bar may look intimidating to some, but please, ask us questions, explore what we have available. Because if there is one thing we love here, it is to share the good stuff with all with a little fate and friendship.

We are very proud to announce that Kismet Cocktail & Whisky Bar has been invited to become an official Ardbeg Embassy – a privilege only extended to a handful of specialist whisky retailers and bars around the world. We are the only on premise outlet in New Zealand to be awarded this status, and as a regional bar, we are thrilled with this honor. As an Embassy, we have access to special releases and events throughout the year!
